Project Bridge is a programme initiated in 1999 as a preventive programme by Inter Ministry Youth on Crime (IMYC) to address the problem associated with Out-of-School-Youths between the ages of 13 to 19 years.YMCA Singapore manages Project Bridge with support from the National Youth CouncilNorthern Knights is proud to support the project by providing coaching clinics to help these youths discover their sporting talents so they may channel their focus into rugby.
The first clinic was held on 21th August 2005 in an open field next to Block 897C at Woodlands Dr 50.Basic rugby techniques were imparted to the boys who surprising took to the game with much gusto and most of them showed plenty of promise.Desmond , Malcolm, Vincent, Sashi and Michael were part of the coaching clinic staff. Mark Steve supplied food for the boys after the games
